WebGeophysical surveying provides a non-destructive and cost effective method to locate and determine subsurface features and conditions. Surveys can be carried out for many different applications in a wide range of environments, such as structural surveys of piles or reinforcement, contamination profiling, and mapping geological interfaces. WebI am an undergraduate civil engineering student, but have always had interests in geology. I am looking into geological engineering and geotechnical engineering for a possible master's degree. Reading up on the two, geological engineering is more geology-based while geotechnical engineering is more civil engineering-based.
