I had an idea for 1.15 where if a Villager is near a bee hive it will count as a profession block and the Villager could become a "Beekeeper" and tend to the bees. Maybe if the type of detection change, could solve the issue, but restrict where these blocks can be placed to assign professions. An example of detection type for the villager is have a block of air above profession block for example. There’s not a way to reverse a struck witch or perhaps a naturally spawned witch right into a villager. The wiki particularly states that whenever a villager is struck it’s despawned along with a witch is spawned in it’s place, only giving the result from it turning out to be a witch. tpra logo
